Later on, post the pictures around the party room with a number attached to each one. Distribute numbered, blank lists, and have each guest guess who is pictured in each photo. Fill a large tub with water and place it in the kitchen or outside. Fill the tub with pacifiers, and let the guests try their luck at bobbing for pacifiers with their hands behind their back. If you want, you can buy some small prizes and number them, and have the pacifiers numbered, too.

Afterward, you can carefully wash and sterilize the pacifiers, place them in a box with a ribbon, and give it to the mom-to-be. Before the party, look through your list of guests, and make a note of any fun facts about each guest.

Then, type up a list of each fact without saying who it belongs to, print copies of the list, and leave one in each guest's seat.

When everyone arrives at your baby shower, guests will have to get to know each other quickly to find out which fact belongs to which guest. The guest with the most correct answers wins.

As guests arrive, pin a card on their back, and have them mingle, asking one another other a series of yes or no questions to try to identify the item on their back. After someone has correctly guessed, the card can be pinned on the front or taken off. The guest with the most clothespins at the end of the baby shower is the winner. This simple baby shower game is fun, and it encourages guests to interact in an interesting way.

Back to the top. Ask guests to write down a parenting saying or piece of advice that they associate with their mom or dad on a slip of paper. It should be short. Then, put all the slips in a bowl, mix them up, and let everyone draw one making sure no one draws her own saying.

Have fun guessing who wrote each saying, and whether she would say it to her own child. Ask your shower guests to decorate an egg to look like a baby, using paints, food coloring, or other decorations. The spoon can be held by hand or between the teeth, and the race can be a standard point-to-point race or a relay race. This game may be best for outdoor baby showers but can be done indoors if you have a large indoor area that tolerates spills.

Play with hardboiled eggs to avoid messy breaks! Small plastic babies, one for each guest you can get these from a party store. For a unique baby shower game, place the plastic babies in the ice tray, pour water over them, and freeze the night before.

When the guests arrive, remove the babies from the ice tray and put an ice baby in each person's drink. The first who calls it wins. Give everyone a baking cup and a few different colored pieces of dough, and set a timer for 15 minutes. The aim of the game is to see who can create the cutest dough baby in the given time. You can make things fun by adding plastic knives, pencils, or anything else that can help your guests get artistic. Of course, mom decides the winner. Split the guests up into teams of four or five, and give each guest a balloon.

Then, the second person must blow up a balloon and stick it under her shirt and so on until all the team members have balloons under their shirts.Main menu Search. Double Trouble. Doubling numbers Counting and adding.

It will lead to a clearer understanding of the data, and to better reports and articles.

Dave Bock did a great job of listening to all my questions and put very timely and thoughtful responses into his answersI learned a great deal from the course and recommend it highly for all prospective and current AP Statistics teachersFeedback on the homework was very comprehensive and detailed, always encouraging.

It was a great help for me (thank you very much to the teaching assistant. She is open to discussions, knowledgeable and willing to discuss topics. Golbeck and the TA did a great job to ensure a very good environment to learn and obtain feedback. This course is a great addition to statistics. The homework was straight forward and Brian responded to questions on the discussion board in a timely fashion.

Thank you Brian for all your effort. I thought the notes were fantastic - very clear, and interesting. One of the best courses I've ever taken. I enjoyed this course very much. I was leery of the Excel plug-in, but it worked out well. The study materials were well thought out and effective. The instructor took an active interest in our progress.

I would highly recommend this class. Very interesting course, excellent content.

I'm looking forward using these concepts in my business pretty soonThis class was very interesting and practical. I learned how to structure experiments to be able to isolate the effects that the input variables have on the response variable. It was also interesting seeing the application of linear regression analysis in a little different way than I experienced in the linear regression class I took just before this.

I appreciated the text and will keep it for reference. I would recommend this class to anybody (with a basis in probability theory and calculus) who wishes to get acquainted with bayesianismI learned a great deal from this course.

I thought that the instructor, Dr. Congdon, prepared excellent lessons for the course. Congdon's responses to the questions on the discussion board were clear and very helpful. The TA for this course was also excellent. I would contend that this Bayesian Computing class (and other Statistics.

I have gotten so much education for relatively little expense. This course was tough, but immensely satisfying. The instructor's lecture notes were written very clearly and were easy to readA very nice introduction to Hadoop.Employment The Department has openings for a Co-Director of Undergraduate Studies, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Wm.

News What have we been up to.He is a New York Times best selling author. The Wall Street Journal calls him a top influencer on the web, Forbes says he is one of the top 10 marketers, and Entrepreneur Magazine says he created one of the 100 most brilliant companies.

He was recognized as a top 100 entrepreneur under the age of 30 by President Obama and a top 100 entrepreneur under the age of 35 by the United Nations. I forgot to mention that I recently released a webinar that shares my 7 best marketing tactics. Would love to know what you think.

And if you still need more help growing your business after you watch the webinar, contact me and I will personally help you. What do I mean by this. The concept is simple.

But how do you achieve it. These are the customers who you want to target. Getting your loyal clientele to review your products will: Influence others to follow their lead. Give other consumers reliable facts about your business. Get your company a higher rank on Google. Boost your website traffic. For the most part, this marketing strategy is relatively inexpensive. But how do you convince your customers to review your business.

High customer experience is essential. Happy customers will leave better reviews.

draw and guess

These reviews will generate a social proof of concept. Expanding their options will increase the chances that they will leave a review. Your website should not be the only place where customers can review your products. Make yourself available on platforms that you know people are using on a daily basis.

Facebook reviews can give your business added exposure, because of its popularity. This accomplishes two things. The other Facebook users will see the review. It may encourage prospective customers to click on your profile. Getting potential consumers to your page is half the battle.

It required very little work on your part and almost no cost to accomplish this. Driving more people to your Facebook page can generate more traffic on your website as well.

With that said, you still need to have a presence on those other platforms. Not all of those are relevant to every business.

However, a local restaurant would need a presence on this platform. Ask your customers to review your products. Amazon does this as well. Their platform is slightly different. Ask them directly in your retail location as well.Thank you Nordic Visitor and in particular Dagny.

The overall experience exceeded our expectations. We loved the attention to detail. Annie obviously understood what type of planning we wanted. We were able to be spontaneous if we saw something that we wanted to include. Many of the owners of accommodations told us how happy they were to be working with Nordic Visitors.

The travel guide was sturdy, survived the trip in one piece, even served as a plate for our lunches eaten in the car as we would return from a walk. We took scotch tape along to mend the map, it's pretty big to handle in the car. And a highlighter to add stops and reminders to help us when we start putting our pictures together.

But, the travel guide will be the most helpful when it comes to putting our travel album together. The places we stayed at were so very nice. I don't know how we would rank them. The owners were so very nice and helpful.

Evami iafcj

Giving us directions and making recommendations on dinners and even making reservations for us. The locations of the accommodations were usually within walking distance of village centers. Picking up our rental car was speedy and well organized. A new car was ready for us and they took the time to go over key points of the car. Excellent service and a well organised trip.

draw and guess

The ease of getting about was further helped by the amazingly good English spoken by almost everyone we interacted with, even in the more remote areas of the country. I'd happily travel with Nordic Visitor again, and indeed hope to at some stage. We really loved this trip and all your help. Your suggestions were always great. The fact that you called a hotel to make last minute arrangements and then called us to explain, was so appreciated.

I can't say enough about our trip, all your help, and of course the country of Iceland. We are so looking forward to coming back after October. Did Iceland Full Circle in 2015 and Hidden Gems this year. Will book with you for sure if and when we go on anorher Scandinavian tour. Have recommended you to multiple friends already. The trip was superb and the redoing of our itinerary because of the weather was seamless which we appreciated greatly.

draw and guess

I would highly recommend Nordic Visitor to anyone traveling - they were professional, and so very very helpful. I had a lot of last minute requests that Kristin was able to take care of seamlessly. As a solo female traveler Nordic Visitor gave me peace of mind while traveling in a new place - I don't know if I could have done this trip without them. I had a two day weather delay in Iceland getting to Greenland, and Dagny my travel consultant was fantastic.

She made sure that I knew what was happening with the airline, helped to make arrangements with the hotel, and made great suggestions for things for me to do while waiting on a flight.

The second day you even sent me to a massage, which was greatly appreciated. Kolbrun arranged for us to have an extra night in Oslo before beginning our tour. The train ride from Oslo to Bergen was terrific. We had time in each city to see the sites and thoroughly enjoyed the cruise aboard the Hurtigruten MS Nordkapp.Erla made all the itinerary and Bjorg greeted us at the Nordic Visitor office. Bjorg spent an hour with us happily and professionally going over everything.

Uei and I returned to the U. I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our trip and appreciate everything you did for us. Especially re-booking our hotels due to the volcanic eruption. Iceland is a beautiful country and we hope to return in the future.

Lots of options with complete flexibility. Communication with Erla (the travel consultant) has been fantastic. We enjoyed every second of our holiday. The preparation from your side was so absolutely professional, so excellent and brilliant. I already plan to come again next year, either 10-14 days on my own, or for a sort of same trip with my brother. Once again: our warmest thank you so much for the preparation of this trip.

And you know we have met other customers of yours who said the same. Dear Maria We both just wanted to write to thank you so much for your efforts in organizing our honeymoon to Iceland. We had an amazing time and loved Iceland very much. We have recommended you and Iceland to a lot of people. You were very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

And booked us into some beautiful hotels. The suggested route and highlights were all spot on, and there were no issues whatsoever with any of the bookings. It all went very smoothly and allowed us to concentrate on seeing the sights :) This is the first time I have used a travel agent for arranging my travel and tour, it is an experience I have thoroughly appreciated and feel everything had been considered and included.

I will definitely use an agent for a trip like this again. I already recommend Nordic Visitor to a few of my friend, they plan to travel at Nordic area.

draw and guess

Norway is a beautiful place for self drive trip. We are look forward to make few other trip to north side of Norway and Iceland. We both put this down as our best holiday ever. The itinerary was superb and the map with marked places together with the vouchers and printed material invaluable.

The marked route was great and we did follow the advice given (mostly. The food was excellent everywhere. We did the history students walking tour on the day we left which was excellent and we would recommend as a good way to learn about iceland and the city. We had chosen the "quality" option for hotels, so we thought we'd be staying at the Arctic hotel in Ilulissat, but we were given the Icefiord hotel.

How to find degree of polynomial

In the end we concluded it was much better, since it's a small hotel, has its own charm, and is in an excellent position right in front of wonderful Disco bay. Everything worked out very well and Alexandra Thorisdottir took very good care of us. Hotel Icefjord was great. We were given an unusually large room, with a small kitchen. Alexandra was wonderful to work with.
